Therapeutic Offerings

Individual Therapy
Also called psychotherapy, talk therapy, and counseling. It’s one-on-one. It’s private. We can either have a specific focus if something bad happened or it can be generalized, “I don’t feel the way I want to.” We delve into grief. If you have mood issues (anxiety & depression, anger), therapy can help you gain control over thoughts and feelings and give insight into what deep places moods arise from. Yes, we will look into family relationships, negative patterns, genetics, movement, and hormones.
-
Group Therapy
2 or more people with similar life issues. It can focus on a specific occurrence, like perinatal loss or be universal needs, like having more authentic relationships and control over feelings and thoughts. You commit to a certain number of sessions. I create a space where everyone feels safe to share. We support each other and I guide with evidenced-based group methods. You feel like other people get you, you are cared for, and you can work out past issues, taking successes back to your life. Costs may be lower than individual therapy.

Remote Therapy
No commute, fewer missed appointments due to life interfering. It’s more convenient, though it may lack the depth of being in the same space, at least until we establish a bond. Everything about therapy remains the same. I ensure your privacy and confidentiality by using a secure and proven interface. We may even move outdoors with phone therapy. You move where you are, perhaps a walk outside your house or at a park, and we are still connected.

Ski Therapy
You need a coach who knows skiing and anxiety. Perhaps you’re returning from injury or feel more fear than a time before. I am a ski instructor of 14 years who is also a therapist.
